• Keep an overview: While loosening hundreds of tiny screws, it’s easy to lose track. With a magnetic base and the sorting tray inside the lid of this bit set, screws and small parts can be stored safely and will not get lost.

Tools for opening, levering and prying

To start your repair, you will need the right opening tools. With many modern devices, it is becoming increasingly difficult to open them. Our kit contains a well-thought-out selection of opening and prying tools, so you can open any case easily and safely.

• Our specially developed suction lifter, for example, allows you to lift extremely sensitive or hard-to-grip components such as tablet and smartphone displays or touchscreens so that you can reach underneath them with the other opening and lever tools.
• With three different spudgers, the iFixit Jimmy and the famous iFixit Opening Tools and Opening Picks, you’ll always have the right tool at hand – whether it’s delicate components or tougher cases that require force.
• Our three differently shaped tweezers (Angled, Reverse & Blunt) allow universal use and let you grip and hold even hard-to-reach device parts and sensitive cables.

Mako Precision Bit Set included…

Our popular precision bit set is also included to serve all screwdriving tasks:

• The ergonomic 4 mm aluminium Bit Driver with magnetic bit socket, knurled grip, and swivel top enables easy operation. The magnetic bit holder not only holds the bit, but also magnetizes it, making it easier to work with tiny screws.
• With its length of 150 mm, the flexible extension makes it easier to screw in hard-to-reach places. It is not magnetic, but holds the bit in place with a clamp. So press the bit into the extension with a little force so that the clamp grips.
• Thanks to the foam insert and magnetic closure of the case, tools, components and bits can be safely stored and transported. The inside of the lid with its grid serves as a sorting tray for screws and small parts.

Electronics manufacturers often complicate repairs with individual screw profiles. The assortment of the 64 most important mini-bits puts an end to this.

• You will find exactly the right bit for every profile: in addition to common types such as Flathead, Phillips and Torx, special bits such as Pentalobe (iPhone bit), Oval bit (for coffee machines) and Gamebit (for Nintendo) are included.
• Our precision bits are made of high-quality S2 steel. These precisely machined bits fit properly into the screws and protect both the bit and fasteners from damages
• The necks of the bits are extra-long (15 mm), so that screwing in confined spaces is also possible.

Please note: Our 4 mm bits are specially designed for precision mechanics, where precision is the primary concern, and are not intended for great force (as in furniture assembly).

By the way: If the bits show any damage despite our checks, we will of course replace them free of charge.
